Below are a few of the incredibly moving stories we received from our patients:
One patient, while expressing their appreciation for our therapist, Grace, shared these heartfelt words: "Grace has a quiet calming demeanor. It's relaxing just to be in her presence. She is a wonderful listener & communicator. Very clear in explaining the steps in the process. She is a very proficient & talented practitioner with the 'healing touch'."
Another patient, touched by the care they received from Kathy, our front desk staff, expressed their gratitude: "I had a superb experience at SDK from my initial phone call with Kathy about services & scheduling. We were deeply moved by a patient's journey post-breast cancer. Stephanie gave me exercises to do at home, which I continue to do to this day...I loved that Stephanie discussed my case with her OT team so I could benefit from their expertise as well."
A patient that was recovering from heart surgery shared the following, “I was very unhappy with my post-surgical scarring. They were tight, painful and elevated. I was blown away when they suddenly released and flattened during a recent session. Not only does it look a lot better, but the pain subsided as well.”
