Lymphedema Treatment Act Passed by Congress

Great news!

Congress passed the Lymphedema Treatment Act on December 23, 2022 and changes to improve insurance coverage for compression garments will go into effect on January 1, 2024. Living with a chronic condition like lymphedema can be challenging and the expense of garments is a big part of this. We are so glad that with these upcoming changes with Medicare, it will also have a positive impact on insurances across the board -- viewing compression garments as a medical necessity and helping to cover these costs so that our patients have better options.

Thank you to everyone who advocated and participated in making this happen!
